To everyone who supported my campaign, thank you! At the outset there is no way I could have known the level of enthusiasm and support in the community. This campaign has given me the opportunity to meet and talk with so many wonderful people, for which I am grateful.

To those who volunteered to canvas – Thank you. It takes a tremendous amount of time and energy to canvas and without your efforts we would have not gotten to nearly as many people as we did.

To those who were willing to show support by putting up yard signs, sometimes multiple – Thank you. At times it can be difficult putting yourself out there, inviting those questions and conversations from friends and neighbors. I know with entrenched support from the establishment, it can be challenging to stand out and stand up for change.

To those who spread the word online and in person – Thank you. This is where it all started. Passionate community involvement is what can drive change and with our ability to connect and collaborate we can be truly effective.

And to all other supporters - thank you. The only way this campaign has gotten this far is both because the message has resonated with people, and they were able to hear that message. The only way that was possible is because of the vocal support of the community.

More information to follow both on this website and my Facebook page, but for now I'm going to get some much needed rest with the family.

Even though I did not win  the results are uncertain, I feel like the campaign accomplished quite a bit.  At the beginning I thought it would be a long shot since incumbency is so difficult to overcome.  What I wanted to do was to get information out there, to raise awareness, and to present a choice to voters.  To that end, I committed to researching and presenting as much information as I could.  So I want to congratulate Mr. Shuey and Mr. Wolfe.  Even though I may not have voted for them, they are still our elected representatives  neighbors, so I wish them the best of luck in the years to come.
